Ritual Cleansing Conducted for Halal Certification
🕌 ハラール認証のための宗教洗浄を実施しました
イスラミックセンターよりイマーム（イスラム教の宗教指導者）とスタッフの方々をお招きし、弊社第一加工場にて宗教洗浄（タハーラ）を行いました。これは、加工施設をハラール（イスラム法に則った）ビーフの加工場として使用するために必要な重要な儀式です。宗教洗浄は、ただの清掃ではなく、物理的な衛生と宗教的な清めの両方を意味しています。
We invited an Imam and staff from the Islamic Center to conduct ritual cleansing (Tahara) at our First Processing Plant. This sacred process is essential for preparing the facility as a Halal beef processing plant in accordance with Islamic law.
Ritual cleansing involves not only physical cleaning but also spiritual purification of the entire area.
まずはイマームの祈り「ビスミッラー（神の御名において）」から始まります。作業の一つひとつが神に捧げるものであることを宣言し、神聖な空間としての準備が始まります。
その後、加工場全体の隅々まで徹底した清掃を行います。通常の洗剤や消毒剤に加えて、「砂」を使った洗浄が行われるのが特徴です。これは、イスラムにおける「タイヤンム」と呼ばれる宗教的清浄の方法に基づいています。
まな板やテーブル、引き出し、壁などにも砂を擦り込み、物理的な汚れを除去すると同時に宗教的な浄化を行います。
The ritual began with a prayer by the Imam—“Bismillah” (In the name of Allah)—signifying that every act performed is dedicated to God.
Then came the thorough cleaning of the facility, covering every corner. In addition to standard detergents and sanitizers, the process included the unique use of sand for scrubbing. This reflects the Islamic practice of Tayammum, a spiritual cleansing method using sand when water is scarce or to purify specific objects.
Cutting boards, tables, drawers, and walls were all scrubbed with sand to ensure both physical cleanliness and spiritual purity.
すべての清掃が終わると、再びイマームによる祈りが捧げられ、施設全体に神の祝福を授けます。この時点で、加工場はハラール準拠の神聖な施設として認定され、今後のビーフ加工がイスラム教徒のお客様にも安心して提供できるものとなります。
After the cleaning, the Imam offered a final prayer to bless the facility and dedicate it to its Halal purpose.
From that point on, the plant is officially recognized as a Halal-compliant sacred space, ensuring that all future processing meets the spiritual and cultural needs of our Muslim customers.
